See your next train at a glance.
A departure board for the timetables you build yourself.
Merge two timetables — inbound and outbound, train and bus — into a single board sorted by departure time. Color bars show which timetable each departure belongs to, with two switchable sets (A and B).
Always see how many minutes until the next departure. A ring gauge updates every second, so you know instantly whether to run for it or let it go.
Times between midnight and 3 AM are treated as 24:00–27:00 — the tail end of the previous day — so ordering stays correct around the last train.
A 60-minute button grid per hour lets you tap in departures while reading a printed timetable. Copy the previous hour to enter repeating patterns quickly.
Export your timetables as JSON files for backup, moving to a new phone, or sharing with family. Hand-written JSON files can be imported too.
Keep separate timetables per day type and switch by today's schedule. Works fully offline — no network required.
Ride on Time is an iPhone timetable app first released in 2009. Built for the station you use every day — the one you never need to search for — it displays your own timetables like a station departure board.
In 2026 it was rebuilt from the ground up for modern iOS, keeping the original's ease of use while running smoothly on today's devices. Available in English and Japanese.
